Cory Miller
BLADESMITH & OWNER
My passion for bladesmith work started when I graduated high school when I decided to make a set of hunting knives and other family heirlooms for my personal use. As an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, I was tired of knives failing to perform in the field. So, I set out to make a knife that would do everything I would want it to do while feeling like an extension of my hand.
As a knifemaker and craftsman, I take great pride in my work. I strive to achieve perfection in every knife and every project. Unfortunately, I am an imperfect man. So, I fail often and do my best to improve and learn with every failure. In a way, it is like the forging process. Impurities burn and are forged out of the steel with every heat and every hammer blow until the blade emerges in its purest form.
My goal as a knifemaker is for every customer not to like or be content with their new knife. Instead, I want every customer to love their new knife. I want them to be blown away by it every time they see it and use it. For that reason, I do my absolute best to pay attention to every detail. Why? Because details matter. Regardless of how insignificant, each and every detail contributes to the outcome. If you are unhappy with your knife, please let me know. I will do my best to make it right.
Lastly, I am first and foremost a husband and a father. I want to thank my wife and kids for allowing me to pursue my passion. It often comes at a high price to them as I end up using the time that otherwise would be dedicated to them to work on your knives.
